The Story So Far...

Some of my fondest memories growing up are dancing around the kitchen whilst my mum and I baked delicious treats for whatever occasion was approaching. I was the chief taster and she always let me get away with not doing the washing up!

At college, I baked cakes for my friends birthdays and, whilst they might have tasted fantastic, they were a little bit rough around the edges!

​

Fast forward to the present day and a lot has changed! My cakes are more polished, I have a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and I’ve learnt a trick or two along the way!


The only thing that hasn’t changed is that I still love baking…

I have just had the most amazing birthday cake from Save Me A Slice, and I mean amazing in both appearance and flavour. It looked spectacular, the sponge was as light as air, the layers were perfectly even and the taste was delicious. We have also tried several other products and everything, without exception, has been scrumptious, superbly finished and decorated with flare and imagination.


It is almost impossible to choose a favourite but, in addition to the deep gateaux, (irresistible), I would highly recommend the Bailey's Macarons and the White Chocolate and Raspberry Blondies. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed, but remember always; Save Me A Slice!😉
